So I shopped at the new Wollongong Central for the first time today – and it is brilliant! Will it alter my shopping habits? Yes, I think it will. How will other parts of Wollongong CBD be affected? Who knows? But they will be for sure!

Wollongong transformed – 18 – it’s open!
I haven’t been inside yet. I plan to do that later today. When I last saw it on Tuesday there was much activity happening.
Look at the excellent presentation The Keira Street Story from The Illawarra Mercury. Some of that historical material I actually remember. After all, I have been visiting Wollongong all my 71 years, and lived/worked here through the 1970s to 1980.
