Warmish end to September — 2

Sunset 30 September from my window. The past few days have been hot.

Sweltering temperatures and crystal-blue skies provided a dazzling finale to cooler-than-average September.

Temperatures soared 13 degrees above average at Albion Park on Tuesday, hitting a sizzling 33.4 degrees by 2pm – falling just short of the 34-degree month record set in 2006.

Seaside suburbs were not spared, with the mercury hitting highs of 32.5 degrees at Bellambi Point and 32.8 degrees at Kiama during the early afternoon…
