Today’s the day the government changes — or not

Several posts over the past week have been devoted to the Australian election and today is Polling Day. Except that I have already voted here in The Gong for the seat of Cunningham. Voted right here in fact by pre-poll on Monday last.

Here is the choice I faced. The ABC News item from which I take both the pic above and the graphic below says:

It would not be the first time Cunningham in northern Wollongong has delivered an election shock, as a by-election delivered Australia’s first ever lower house Greens MP when Michael Organ won with just 23.5 per cent of the primary vote in 2002.

Now I am going to reveal who I actually put at #1!

#2 was Alison Byrnes, so in the quite likely event of it going to preferences, she is my first preference, so my vote transfers to her — which is the way I want it.

After that I numbered every square, making sure Fake UAP was last.

The only thing wrong with pre-poll is that I missed out on a democracy sausage.
